  • PRODUCT CARE

Your rashguard is your first line of defense against harmful UV rays, but its effectiveness can diminish if not cared for properly. To ensure it lasts for years, follow these essential care instructions:

    • Rinse Immediately: After each use, rinse your rashguard with fresh water to remove chlorine and salt residue.
    • Use Cool Water: Always wash in cool or lukewarm water—hot water can damage the fabric.
    • Hand Wash: Turn the garment inside out and hand wash it with a biodegradable soap to preserve its integrity.
    • Hang Dry: Avoid direct sunlight and heat by hanging your rashguard to dry.
    • Avoid Folding: Don’t fold or crumple the garment, as this can weaken the fibers.
    • Store Carefully: Avoid leaving your rashguard in the trunk of your car, where heat can cause damage.

Additionally, be mindful of contact with rough surfaces and Velcro fasteners, which can pull at the fibers and affect the appearance of your rashguard. Following these tips will keep your gear looking great and performing well for many adventures to come!

  • PRODUCT MEASUREMENT GUIDE

    Body Measurement Guide

This guide provides body measurements to help determine the best size for youth apparel. If measurements fall between sizes, we recommend ordering a size down for a closer fit.

    How to Measure:

    • Height: Have the child stand on a firm, flat surface with their back against a wall. Ensure their feet are together and arms are at their sides. Mark the wall at the crown of their head and measure the distance from the floor to the mark.
    • Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest. Start with one end of the tape measure at the front, wrap it around the back under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, and bring it back to the starting point.
    • Waist: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of the waist, keeping it snug but not tight.
    • Hips: Start the tape measure at one hip, wrap it around the fullest part of the hips, and return to the starting point.

For example, sizes are as follows:

    • 2T: Height approximately 36 ¼", Chest 20 ½", Waist 20 ⅛", Hips 20 ⅞".
    • 3T: Height approximately 38 ⅝", Chest 21 ¼", Waist 20 ⅝", Hips 22 ¼".
    • 4T: Height approximately 41", Chest 22", Waist 21 ¼", Hips 23 ⅝".
    • 5T: Height approximately 43 ¼", Chest 22 ⅞", Waist 21 ⅝", Hips 24 ⅜".
    • 6: Height approximately 45 ⅝", Chest 23 ⅝", Waist 22", Hips 25 ¼".
    • 6X: Height approximately 48", Chest 24 ¾", Waist 22 ½", Hips 26".
    • 7: Height approximately 50 ⅜", Chest 26", Waist 22 ⅞", Hips 27 ⅛".

Ensure the tape measure stays parallel to the ground when taking horizontal measurements for accuracy.
