Artist Statement

 

As an artist and illustrator based in Colorado, I find constant inspiration in the stunning natural landscapes that surround me, fueling my creation of distinctive surface patterns and nature-inspired designs. My artistic path, shaped by experiences as an art curator and park ranger, reflects a deep-rooted passion for both creative expression and spending time in the natural world.

 

Many of my designs are playful and whimsical, while others embody the serene stillness and quiet solitude that the native environment so often inspires. Regardless of my chosen medium or style, my goal in each design is to consistently evoke a sense of contentment and inspiration. My work is rarely driven by direct observation but rather by the emotions and experiences I gather during my time outdoors, capturing the spirit of exploration and the profound connection with the natural world and its processes.

 

I create to inspire other's primal desire to connect with the fragile ecosystems that surround them in hopes they focus on appreciating and sharing it.
